For school I have to have a poll of people who have illegally downloaded music. It's for a debate that I'm doing, Downloading Music is Hurting the Music Industry.
I usually buy the singles on itunes, and then get the CD's. Sometimes, if I don't have money, my friends will send me the songs they have that I like instead.
I have downloaded alot of music in the past. But I have legitimate reasons for doing so.
Like if you can't find a song to buy anywhere but you can download it illegally.
Or...and I do this mostly...if I want to see if I like a band or singer good enough to buy their album/s I'll download it and if I like them I'll buy the album and delete the downloaded version or if I don't like em I just delete the songs.

All of the stuff I've downloaded I try to find and buy. The only stuff that I download anymore is music that I can't get in the US. And I have a major guilt complex over it.

Except I can't do that in every case, because sometimes their music is unreleased. So they should rerelease it. *shakes fist*
